On a number of blogs, some have observed that the Democratic leadership is trying to force, or bamboozle, Democratic voters into abandoning Clinton and embracing Obama. These Dems believe that the DNC and Party leadership are stealing the show.
I agree, in part. The leadership is stealing the show; they are rigging the election.
However, it's also clear that the Democratic Party leadership has always been running the show. The Democratic voters are window dressing, and have been for decades.
The concoction of the SuperDelegate is but one demonstration of the Dem Party leadership's fear of the public vote and of their lust to remain in control, no matter what.
After all, these leaders are the people who save us from ourselves, and spend our money, on our behalf, on grand social engineering projects. So, they must know which candidate is best, true?
When the voters are in alignment with the leadership, the voters think they are in charge.
When the leadership makes bad choices, the voters get a glimpse behind the curtain of the machine.
In the primary election, we are witnessing the latter case. Behind the curtain is a view of an incredibly cut-throat and divisive lust for power and control of the American people, of the corporations we work for, and of the very ways we live our lives.
Why are the traditionally greedy and self-interested pols in the Democratic Party tripping over themselves to join the Lemming Express, hellbent for Obama.
Simple. To get a better job.
Obama's position on his inexperience is that he will select a great panel of advisors to help him run the country.
So, The Lemming Express represents a "stampede of greed" by those who want a chunk of any Obama Cabinet or Administration.
By pushing Obama's candidacy, they may expect to be "Secretary Kennedy" or "Ambassador Dodd" for at least four years. Obama's old buddy John Conyers may even be elevated from lowly House Judiciary Chairman, to Attorney General, or even to the Supreme Court (a public job for life! The dream job of every Democratic politician!).
Because Obama doesn't know his coccyx from his olecranon, he naturally will gravitate to those wise ones who "knew" how to get him into power. So, the thinking goes, if they got him elected, they must know something!!! Voila! Expert advisors!
Their reward is a Cozy Chair in the stratosphere of the Executive or Judicial Branch.
Other Democratic Party leaders, who may not be driven purely by a lust for power, or acclaim, or riches, are drawn to Obama, like sheep, by the lucre-craving lemming stampede.
They may qualify for a Comfortable Futon in the Executive Basement. An Assistant Secretary, or Envoy, or Article I judge, for example.
Regardless of where they end up, they will benefit by bowing to The Transcendant One, Obama.
Some Democratic voters may see the sham for what it is, and may wake up before the general election. Other Dems will try to find ways to justify supporting generation after generation of these criminally stupid, pocket-lining, self-promoters.
The Clintons, being The Clintons, would be more selective in their choices for top positions. These lemmings and sheep know that they are not on the Clinton "A" list, so they are pushing a bogus candidate on America to get a better deal for themselves.
The composition and behavior of the crowd surrounding Obama only supports my position that Obama is a trojan horse, who would come into power with the corrupt Democratic National Party people packed within him, waiting to take power.
It smells like the fix is in for the Dems, doesn't it? We're about to find out.
Will Ohio, Texas, and Pennsylvania Democratic voters join the Obama lemmings and sheep?
If Obama is the Democratic candidate in the general election, will the Dems who voted for Clinton choose to stand on the side of good sense and for the Common Good, and bolt to the Republican candidate?
How many "anyone but Hillary" Dems desert Obama for the general election?
This ought to be good.
